At Roof Space New Zealand, every rooftop tent is built to meet our exacting German engineering standards. We stand behind our workmanship and materials with a comprehensive 2-year manufacturing warranty.
Our Promise
If your tent experiences a defect in materials or workmanship within two years of the original purchase date, we will repair or replace the affected parts — at no cost to you. This warranty reflects our commitment to quality, safety, and the confidence we have in every tent we produce.
Each Roof Space tent carries a unique serial number and undergoes 18-point photographic quality assurance during production. You can rest easy knowing your tent is built and backed by the same team that designed it.
What’s Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Structural components such as the shell, hinges, and frame
- Internal mechanisms (ladder locks, gas struts, latches)
- Fabrics, zippers, and seams under normal use
What’s Not Covered
- Damage from misuse, neglect, or improper installation
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic blemishes
- Modifications or repairs not approved by Roof Space
- Damage from accidents, storms, or external impact
How to Make a Warranty Claim

- Your proof of purchase or order number
- Photos of the issue and serial number plate
- A short description of the problem
Our team will assess your claim within 2–3 business days and guide you through the next steps.
